Transport

The West Midlands is at the heart of the transport network in the UK. Transport issues continue to be a key priority for the region.

The Assembly leads an active Transport Partnership which includes local transport authorities, the Highways Agency, the Department of Transport, Centro, the business community, Birmingham International Airport, the freight industry and bus and rail industries. The Partnership has produced the Regional Transport Delivery Plan.
