Scrutiny Review - Access to Finance

The West Midlands Regional Assembly has a statutory role to scrutinise the activities of Advantage West Midlands. As part of this process a review panel has been examining Advantage West Midlands' broad approach to financial support for businesses, an assessment of gaps in the market, take up and impact of financial support packages.

This is a short focused activity which is intended to also contribute to the current review of the West Midlands Economic Strategy. As part of the review process the draft report was circulated to all participants and interested individuals and organisations for comment. This phase concluded on Monday 25 June 2007. The final report will be presented to the full Assembly on 18 July 2007.
