Central Wales-West Midlands Core Officer Group

The Central Wales - West Midlands Core Officer Group is established to:

- Implement the Central Wales - West Midlands Memorandum of Understanding on Cross Border Collaboration taking strategic direction from the Strategic Forum

- Develop and co-ordinate action programmes / working groups that seek to realise the aims set out in the Memorandum of Understanding and oversee subsequent implementation

- Identify research requirements

- Facilitate opportunities for cross border collaboration that arise as a result of the work carried out under the provisions of the MoU

- Seek to facilitate and engage with new and existing cross border working groups to provide a mechanism for promoting and developing collaborative cross border action and delivery programmes:

- Health & Social Care Task Group
- Environment Topic Group
- TraCC/Transport Task Group
