Background
The Panel Report on the WMRSS Phase Two Revision Examination in Public (EiP) was published by Government Office for West Midlands on 28 September 2009. Please follow the link to access the Panel Report and accompanying Annexes. A press release has been published outlining the Assembly's initial position. Following comments received in relation to the Panel Report a small number of issues have been considered further by the Panel. In the light of this, the Panel has issued a short addendum which should be read in conjunction with the Panel Report. The addendum (revised version, 25 Nov.09) is available here, together with a cover note from Government Office for the West Midlands.
In terms of background, the Assembly submitted the WMRSS Phase Two Revision Draft to the Secretary of State in December 2007, for more information please click here. An Examination in Public into the Draft Revision took place at the Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton between April - June 2009. Further information about the EiP can be found on the PINS website.
