Energy and Transport

Scope: Funding promotes opportunities to save energy and encourage the use of renewable sources to meet EU targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 2020. Funding can be used for energy efficiency in transport, alternative fuels, modal shift, energy efficient buildings and products, sustainable energy communities, bio fuels, heating and cooling, training and education.

Grant: 75% funded and project size approximately €1 million

EU partner required: At least 3 European countries needed, all sectors eligible

Timing: Annual deadline usually in June.
