Equalities and Diversity

The Regional Equality and Diversity Partnership leads on Equality & Diversity and Social Inclusion policy issues within the Region and is responsible for advising the West Midlands Regional Assembly on these matters.

The Partnership was formed in line with the recommendations of the 2005 Strategic Review of Equalities and Diversity in the Region.Its purpose is to integrate equalities and diversity issues within the regional agenda. It works with other regional partnerships and stakeholders to highlight equality and diversity issues and to ensure that the needs of all groups within the Region are considered.
